meet Stephanie Kornbluth
I was a little girl who was confident, outgoing and so free; the kind of child who danced like no one was watching. Until puberty hit, and everything changed. My body changed. The way people spoke about my body changed. The way I felt in my body changed.
At 10 years old, I would go to bed and pray for my Freaky Friday moment. I desperately wanted to wake up in my best friend's body. I wanted to know what it felt like to be free again; to be comfortable, confident and at home in my body.
When it became clear the magic of television didn’t translate into real life, I began a decades long journey of diets, plans, programs and a whole lot of self hate.
Through mindfulness techniques, like EFT Tapping, breath work, meditation and somatic movement, I began to rebuild the relationship with my body; loving her, listening to her, trusting her and honouring her.
I redefined my values, discovering my unconditional self worth and profound body acceptance through all the ups, downs and curveballs that life throws at you.
After I had my third baby, and yet again on a weight loss journey, I looked at my progress photos and this time, instead of seeing results and changes, I saw my kids. I saw them in the background, I saw me holding them, and sometimes they were even the ones taking the photos. And it hit me…
What I had been searching for, the love, the acceptance, the worth…wasn’t something I could find outside of me. It’s not in a size or a goal weight. It’s not the praise from others. It was right here, in this home and in my heart; it had been there the whole time, just waiting for me to remember that power.

She brought up awareness for me with things I didn’t even know I was struggling with. My relationship with my mind and body has improved so much thanks to her and really focusing on listening to my body and intuitively eating.

It helped me to remember not to compare myself to others. It helped me to remember that every single person is different in their own way and you have such an amazing way of explaining it. The inside and what you believe about yourself is the only opinion that matters. That video truly helped me pull myself out of " why can't I look like that" to " I'll get there at my own pace" I truly enjoy watching your videos. They help in ways you wouldn't even imagine. As someone who was aware of diet culture and didn’t feel like I gave into the pressures of it too much, it has been really eye opening learning just how deeply ingrained is in our everyday lives, and I’ve learned so much about being conscious of this and thought patterns surrounding food to allow me to make choices that I feel good about and are serving me. It’s also been so helpful with ways I approach foods with my kids, and helping them be more involved in our food choices to help them establish healthy relationships with foods. I can’t wait to learn more!"
